MASSACRE RECORDS
Rinnova il contratto a lungo termine con THE ORDER
German metal label Massacre Records is proud to announce the long-term renewal of its contract with Swiss hard rock/heavy metal band THE ORDER, further strengthening a collaboration that has lasted for almost 15 years. In addition to the contract renewal, Massacre Records is also acquiring the band’s previous Massacre catalog, which includes three albums, ensuring the continued availability and promotion of THE ORDER’s back catalog as part of this extended partnership. Thomas Hertler, label manager at Massacre Records, comments: “We have been working with our Swiss friends from The Order for almost 15 years now. We are happy and proud to renew our collaboration with one of the most energetic live bands around and look forward to the release of their amazing new album—see you at the next ROW festival, guys! Keep up the good work!“
Bruno (THE ORDER) adds: ”We have been working with Massacre for fifteen years and are proud to announce that we have renewed our contract. We look forward to another successful collaboration and thank Thomas and everyone at Massacre for their trust!” With this renewed commitment, Massacre Records and THE ORDER reaffirm a shared vision based on trust, continuity, and a passion for powerful and sincere heavy metal, both on record and on stage. THE ORDER will release their new studio album “Empires” on April 24, 2026. Musically and lyrically, ‘Empires’ brings together nearly 20 years of the band’s history, reconnecting with the political lucidity and raw energy of their acclaimed debut album “Son Of Armageddon,” but with a sound that is more current and incisive than ever.
Produced by V.O. Pulver at Little Creek Studios in Switzerland, the album offers imposing riffs, strong melodies, and an unmistakable hard rock/heavy metal structure. Along with the album announcement, THE ORDER also shared some important news: frontman Gianni Pontillo has officially joined legendary Scottish rock band NAZARETH as their new singer and will be touring with them as early as February. But the most important news for THE ORDER fans is that Gianni remains a full-time member of the band, continuing to lead it and participating in all future recordings and activities. Although some live projects for 2026 may require minor adjustments, THE ORDER remains very much alive, active, and committed to celebrating its upcoming 20th anniversary with select concerts and a special set list spanning its entire career.
THE ORDER are:
Gianni Pontillo – Vocals
Bruno Spring – Guitars
Alain Schwaller – Bass
Mauro «Tschibu» Casciero – Drums
